Since Gearbox now owns the rights to all Duke Nukem games, i doubt this will ever happen.

Interceptor claims they have the source code to Duke Nukem: Zero Hour and they have plans to do something with it. When and what, don't know.

Read my comment above, it's impossible now.

They have the source code, doesn't mean they can't do something with it. Maybe not put it on steam, but they can do something with it and get away with it.

They're the ones who put Duke Nukem 1, 2, Manhattan Project and the Kill-A-Thon pack on Steam. I thought the deal was that they just can't make any future Duke Nukem games?

Those rights are gone now. Remember that top shooter called Duke Nukem Mass Destruction? That became bombshell, because Gearbox sued them. They solved it by handing over the rights to Gearbox.

Yes, because that was going to be a new Duke game. The Kill-A-Thon pack was even released after the lawsuit was settled and it's still there.

Pretty sure the Kill a Ton pack was released before the lawsuit was settled but it is true that 3D Realms have lost the rights to the Duke Nukem franchise but I suspect that they still have publishing rights for the Duke games that are already on Steam.

Also I don't recall any posts about Zero Hour's source code being possibly found, I thought that was Time to Kill they were teasing?

I remember Time to Kill too, but I do remember Zero Hour being teased as well. They said it as a reply to a Youtube comment from user Nukemdave, I believe. There was also a topic somewhere in the 3DR forums about it, but now I can't find either of these things.
