Megaton - Steam vs PS3/Vita version
I played through the PS3/Vita version before Steam version. Some noticable differences: The menus and fonts are different. They have a replay option (similar to the one in 20th anniversary world tour - which is probably what gearbox ripped it off from). Surprised the steam version doesn't have a replay option.

The PS3/Vita also had a level lettering system to accommodate the expansion episodes (where they would call nuclear winter episode 6, etc - or E6M1). The PS3/Vita version had a lot of bugs and certain levels you would have to reset to get through (Toxic Dump for example). Also from what I remember you couldn't toggle certain options in the PS3/Vita version such as the old sprites for the guns / items.

Other than that the gameplay was identical to the Steam version. Shame both versions are no longer available. At least on Steam you can still get the game if you can find a key/gift.

That would have been cool. Devolver has the drive to actually polish it / remake for the pc. Hey, Gearbox might polish it up and add it to 20th anniversary edition... haha

The PS3 and Vita versions were cool because of how more integrated the episodes were (unlike the PC version where you have to launch the addons separately)

The replay system from Megaton was actually ripped from the XBLA port (which might be what Gearbox used theirs from).

It's the episode that was exclusive to Total Meltdown, the PS1 version.
