thanks <33
I payed $3 for this, so the price is right.
I'll make it simple so you can understand. Have you ever payed for a movie? Some games are all about the story and I think this is one of those. Story had it's cheap moments, but it's still a great work of art. It for sure is worth the price 'cause the game is meant to be "easy" so you can follow the story without interrumptions. But also, the controllers make it a little more challenging so you don't lose the feeling of playing a game. There are a lot of "challeging" games outside, you can search for those, but that's not an argument for saying this game isn't worth the price. Enjoy the ride and play with a smile, gaming community ain't need more rage ;)

you do realise that games are highly subjective, right? when someone says the game was worth every penny, that is them saying they really enjoyed the game to the extent they thought the price well worth it. All you get to argue is weather you enjoyed it, or weather the game was worth the price subjectivly for you... You disliked the game, thats fine. However everyone else also gets to like the game as much or little as they like and express this. To you this is a 3/10, thats fine, but others are aloud to like it.
I beat it in less than 2 hours, but i loved the game, went through some of my favorite sections again. I'd say, for me, it was well worth it. I enjoyed the puzzles and platforming sections, however simple. I feel they added to the atmosphere quite nicely. I can't guess if you, op, will find it worthwhile or not.
Yes, I understand that games are subjective and I'm happy to retract my "How can you say.." statement. I also never said that I didn't like the game, In fact, I said just the opposite. I said "The game is fun and the puzzles are interesting." The story was also good, though a little shallow. My complaint was primarily that the game was far too short and the puzzles were unchallanging. Additionally, it has zero replayability. I paid $60 for Portal 2 and got over 300 hours of gameplay before it started getting tiring. That's much more bang for the buck than 3 hours for $15. Even on sale, I still paid over $1 per hour which is much more than the $0.20 per hour I paid for Portal 2. I would have liked to see a continual increase in the diffculty of the puzzles as the game progessed for another 7 hours or so. Good puzzles and 10 hours of gameplay would have made this a typical $15 game. I can't even really call the puzzles puzzles becuase the solutions were obvious and took virtually no thought. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. But in my opinion, the fanfare is unjustified. I just don't see anything so fantastic about this game that makes it worh the rave reviews. At best, it's okay and it's very very short. You all obviously disagree and I know I'm outnumbered. And that's fine. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there so others that read these forums are aware that this game might not be as great as everyone is saying it is. You think it is. Good on you. I'm glad you are happy with your purchase. Personally, I don't regret buying it. At its full price, I would have.
