I completed in 4 hours. I would suggest between 3-4 hours to completion. It's a very linear game, so it doesn't have any replay value, though it is very enjoyable, and there are some very well done achievements.

4 hours

I was able to beat it in 2 1/2 hours, but none the less, it's worth the price.

I did it in 4 hours, with some time AFK. Maybe 3, 3½. Worth every penny.

How can you say it's worth the price? The puzzles are ridiculously simple. Not a single one challenged me. Yes, the graphics were good, and the story had a surprise ending that some might consider emotional. But the gameplay was typical and uninspired. The mechanic of controlling each brother with a different stick was interesting and certainly unique, but caused a lot of problems when the brother controlled by the left stick got on the right side of the screen and visa-versa - they just become difficult to control. So between the poor controls, the unchallenging puzzles, and the extremely short gameplay, I can't recommend this game. If I had paid full price, I would be infuriated. At the Christmas sale discounted price, it is more palatable, but I was still disappointed. After hearing all the great reviews, I expected a LOT more. I'd give this game a 3/10. The game is fun and the puzzles are interesting, but the solutions are not and they are too easy. In fact, the solutions are generally obvious. The controls are awkward, and the game is too short.

I payed $3 for this, so the price is right.

I'll make it simple so you can understand. Have you ever payed for a movie? Some games are all about the story and I think this is one of those. Story had it's cheap moments, but it's still a great work of art. It for sure is worth the price 'cause the game is meant to be "easy" so you can follow the story without interrumptions. But also, the controllers make it a little more challenging so you don't lose the feeling of playing a game. There are a lot of "challeging" games outside, you can search for those, but that's not an argument for saying this game isn't worth the price. Enjoy the ride and play with a smile, gaming community ain't need more rage ;)

I understand your point about movies and I certainly have paid more for movies and had less enjoyment from them in terms of price per minute. I just expected more from the rave reviews the game was getting and 3 hours seems excessively short. I also expect more out of a game than a movie in that I expect a movie to be linear, but the great thing about games is that they are interactive. This game just came up short in that regard. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the game. I just would have liked the puzzles to require a little thought and I would have liked to have gotten a few more hours of gameplay out of it. For the sale price, I can't complain too much. But it's not worth the full price IMO. FedaykinRyder, where did you find it for $3? I don't think it dropped below $4.49 here on Steam.

4 hours. But if you want to get the achievements longer. Try to interact with different people with both brothers. It's funny who the little one acts sometimes.

6 hours for 2 play throughs. I really enjoyed it.

Steam had a flash sale and it was 2.99 also I would say this game is better than most if not all the movies that came out this year. I played it for 2 hours, waited a week then finished it about 30 minutes ago. Since most movies cost around $10 I think if I had the chance I would have paid full price. Developers like this need to keep making games.

you do realise that games are highly subjective, right? when someone says the game was worth every penny, that is them saying they really enjoyed the game to the extent they thought the price well worth it. All you get to argue is weather you enjoyed it, or weather the game was worth the price subjectivly for you... You disliked the game, thats fine. However everyone else also gets to like the game as much or little as they like and express this. To you this is a 3/10, thats fine, but others are aloud to like it.

I beat it in less than 2 hours, but i loved the game, went through some of my favorite sections again. I'd say, for me, it was well worth it. I enjoyed the puzzles and platforming sections, however simple. I feel they added to the atmosphere quite nicely. I can't guess if you, op, will find it worthwhile or not.

Yes, I understand that games are subjective and I'm happy to retract my "How can you say.." statement. I also never said that I didn't like the game, In fact, I said just the opposite. I said "The game is fun and the puzzles are interesting." The story was also good, though a little shallow. My complaint was primarily that the game was far too short and the puzzles were unchallanging. Additionally, it has zero replayability. I paid $60 for Portal 2 and got over 300 hours of gameplay before it started getting tiring. That's much more bang for the buck than 3 hours for $15. Even on sale, I still paid over $1 per hour which is much more than the $0.20 per hour I paid for Portal 2. I would have liked to see a continual increase in the diffculty of the puzzles as the game progessed for another 7 hours or so. Good puzzles and 10 hours of gameplay would have made this a typical $15 game. I can't even really call the puzzles puzzles becuase the solutions were obvious and took virtually no thought. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. But in my opinion, the fanfare is unjustified. I just don't see anything so fantastic about this game that makes it worh the rave reviews. At best, it's okay and it's very very short. You all obviously disagree and I know I'm outnumbered. And that's fine. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there so others that read these forums are aware that this game might not be as great as everyone is saying it is. You think it is. Good on you. I'm glad you are happy with your purchase. Personally, I don't regret buying it. At its full price, I would have.
