The giants killed each other. It was the aftermath of a war.
2) That person lying beside that female giant was their dad, the older brother was punching his brother because it was a little brother's dream, he dreamed his brother was killing him.
3) Those giants i don't know, i think it was a war between them.
For example, I don't think there was a war between giants- might've just been a war between humans that the boys got caught up in, having to navigate through the aftermath. A child would view an adult warrior as being HUGE. Naia becoming interested in a woman, Naiee feels betrayed and jealous since he wants to spend more time with a girl than his bro. Even the way Naia is killed... the woman literally "sinks her fangs into him" after she invites him to "climb into a mysterious hole that the younger brother doesn't understand yet"- analogy for seduction.
