configuration says only Keyboard needed. Wastet money on a controller...I don't need for playing the game
You could try configure your gamepad in Steam Big Picture and launch the game from there, Steam usually emulates an XInput device.
Xbox 360 Wired Controller
Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 recommended.
Keyboard and mouse supported.
I need to read more.....
Thanks for help
Eventually, I bet the Xbone controller will be just as widely supported as the 360, but it's far too new right now. But anyway:
Controller supported = Xinput controllers.
100% dependency = Xbox 360 controller.
Anything else = emulator.
Eventually, I bet the Xbone controller will be just as widely supported as the 360, but it's far too new right now.[/quote]
Actually, it also works via XInput so it is as widely supported as the XBox 360 one.
So xinput alone isn't enough to ensure a controller will function.
2. This thing offers all the butons and axes the XBox 360 one offers
3. This thing is from Microsoft
I hereby prove the theory right by facts.
As for "generic controllers", this one is from Microsoft, the makers of the XInput API. So who cares about generic controllers?
