Can confirm as well. The fact the game has controller compatibility I think helps.

Got any theories WHY this game is Unsupported, when every forum post here or report on protondb claims it works just fine? It's especially weird since the general feeling seems to be that Valve is too lenient, marking games Verified that have issues you'd expect from a Playable title.

+1, this game works perfectly on Deck. No idea why it's marked Unsupported. It's a shame because who knows how many potential players are missing out on it as a result.

My pet theory is that Josef Fares (game designer and film director) is withholding Verified status because of some minor imperfection in how the game plays on Proton. I don't think he's actually that much of a diva, and probably wouldn't even be involved in the review process at this point, but that's the only explanation I can come up with.

jUst finished this game. Everything worked perfectly on the steam deck.

the status should been playable. The game might freeze throught, but im do meant have seen that on the PC in the same swimming section before start of the game.

Worked fine on the deck, no issues at all, battery was fine as well, my first game on the deck

The game does freeze some times. Not often, Nor it's a bug in deck or generel? (as I'm does do seen it before) A restart sovled both cases, lucky have lot of save point. But could been why not combatible? Il do still say its s playable game,.

One of kind a excellent game playing on steam.

Probably Steam hasn't gotten to testing it. The 'Verified' status only gets applied as people play it and tell Valve it's working and they test it themselves.

But if they had not tested it then the status would be “Unknown”. The fact that it’s “Unsupported” means it got _some_ attention from the verification staff.

It does, I 100% it on mine in january this year. I even redownloaded it just now, booted and ran fine with most recent proton.

It's definitely playable.

Just needs some fiddling with the launcher controls and setting the resolution.

After that it's a blast.

Most titles play on Steam deck even if they're unsupported. Verified for Deck means someone at Valve tested it at some point.
