So how many of us have beat Carnage Baal 4?

I just did, so. Yay me, I'm just curious. I don't think I've beaten Baal in a Disgaea before this one, and now I've finished Carnage Baal 4 this time around, in.. 46 hours, which seems odd to me.

Still plan to grind items and whatnot, I hardly touched the item world this whole time.

baal isnt that hard in 7 it seems since you can clear him with out equipment. I havent fought baal yet, but I am just doing my typical thing of getting ALL characters and classes to max stats before hand.

Dang, im 28 hours in and only in chapter 10. Guess you can do endgame super fast if you exploit early and often and skip through all the story.

Only exploit ive used so far is Evil Gatcha (throwing enemy into base panel to kill all units).

Just unlocked Mecha girla nd got her to proficiency 4 which took a long time because of all the classes you need to get teh proficiency up for, but it seems theres a soft cap at 4 or a hard cap (not sure which) and I need to somehow get her higher to unlock her BIG AoE :(

I didn't play D6 but it seems like you could platinum it in well under 100 hours.

Kinda disappointing if D7 is a similar length. Took me around 250 hours to plat D5 and I always thought the end-game grind was a selling point for Disgaea games (I certainly enjoy it).

The reason you don't need equipment is that equipment in 7 sucks. Even maxed out it barely gives anything.

there's plenty of endgame grind if you don't use exploits/optimization strats, to me this game lasts a lot longer than disgaea 5, i even played d6 more than d5, though d6 boiled down to hours and hours of auto-battles and then like 5 mins of gameplay, rinse and repeat, d7 is back to full active gameplay like 5 and using only masolene on martial stage 5 occasionally but otherwise actively playing & grinding it lasts a veeeery long time.

equipment is much better in 7 than previous games too, especially with the item reincarnation system.

how do you unlock the land of carnage carnage baal stages? ive done everything i can find, but must be missing something to unlock that area of carnage mode, ive already beat all the 15 stages of carnage and have yet to unlock carnage baal stages

its not in the dark assembly is my issue, trying to find out how to unlock it

I feel like the main purpose of equipment in this game is the properties you can get and not necessarily for the stats.

Did you beat normal Baal yet? I believe you also have to mark the Carnage 15 boss quest as complete but I could be wrong.
