Some help in leveling from new player
Im asking this because Ive read some guides and the terminology they use confuses me. Im a first time Disgaea player. I read online that using the juice bar for leveling seems to not give as many stats as leveling up through battle, but that it should be used simply to get stored levels? What are stored levels? And where do I see them? Does this mean that I shouldnt be using the juice bar to level up my characters?

Worrying about juice bar early on for new player are not very good ideal. Since it usually rely on kill high level enemy to be very effective.

That is some thing most user do in late game in land of carnage.

In most case. I usually find my self grinding on early stage and using cheat shop to boost exp gain and usually rely on dark assembly to boost like time 3 exp bonus for early game. Hog all exp great for helping leveling low level character.

Until you beat the game, just ignore the juice bar. Once you complete story it becomes a bit more relevant, but ultimately you kinda have to rely on levelling just one guy up to brute force your way into Land of Carnage to start getting any value out of it.

Stored levels could be referring to simply the EXP in the juice bar that you can use to level characters, or reincarnation level, neither of which are worth concerning yourself with.

Get used to the game for now, and just used cheat shop to crank up EXP gain to max for now, since all other ways of increasing your stats dont really matter all that much during story progression.

Stored levels are not related to the Juice bar at all. They are a concept in every disgaea where when you reincarnate you "store" your current levels in a stat you can't see and this boosts your stat gains a vary small amount. it is a vary late game thing as you tend to need a lot of stored levels to start seeing it. I would not worry about it to much as even though they where a thing in both 5 and 6 they had vary little impact at all (you could max stats in 5 without it) If guides are saying to use the Juice bar to gain stored levels they would mean to use it to boost a character up to a high level then reincarnate over and over so you get stored levels.

Early on if you wanna grind levels do it on 3-4 with the cheat shop to boost exp and enemy levels (as high as you can manage to oneshot them). This will require some throwing to lineall the enemies up and get the +exp node though.

9-4 is less of a pain but iby that point you can probably just do the first martial trainign stage (check your dark assembly to unlock the stages, beat the first stage once, then go back to it).

Dont worry about messing characters up, you really cant. Juice bar seems useless until you get characters to level 999 and start reincarnating.

only thing juice bar good for early on is the mana to help stregthen skills, unlock evilites and dark assembly. besides that don't bother till you're grinding post game

You can get some exp in the juice shop via rewards, but late game once you have level 9999 units any exp they would gain goes into the juice shop instead. It becomes a good way to level lower level units or use later for reincarnation.
Same applies to Mana.

Even though people talk about juice bar stuff.

I just remember some thing. Most thing involve with evil gacha that actually effect juice bar it self. What evil gacha give in return for spamming it.

Many item that can be sold for money or point for item world upgrade. Scroll that can easier use for quick mana gain early on. It even give juice bar point on character base static. It even give jucie bar exp for leveling and juice bar mana point.

Oddly that you gain more money back then losing money over times. In way that you always want to spend more to healing a character that have a lot of hp and mp to get more point to pull for Evil Gacha to earn more money and other stuff. Pretty broken if I think about it.
