To People Complaining About the Price of Any Game
Look at the price of a movie now days its what around $20 and you get on average 2 hours of entertainment so you are paying $10 an hour to watch a movie. Also look at bowling it costed me $24 to play for 30min with 1 other friend so thats $48 an hour for entertainment. This game is $105 for the ultimate edition and with these types of games you easily get at least 200 hours so im paying $0.525 an hour. So be glad games are not anywhere near the cost of where they could be with inflation and other entertainment. But yea some games are definitely not worth $60 now days but most of them are.
Note: Im by no means rich, i make only $14 an hour working a basic cashier job at 32 hours a week. I strongly believe games cost less than they could but also glad they are not more than $60.

"Most games are worth $60 these days "??? 🙄 this is why steam needs a block button

Why would you argue in favor of high prices? Very odd.

Absolutely not. Some games are worth it but most of them aren't.

Oh those movies and coffee/tea cups comparison to people who don't go to the movies or drink coffee/tea at home. I would give you better alternative - check you wishlist backlog and see how many games you could buy for current price and decide if this price is worth for you.
Though I bought the game, the price is stupid. I don't save much with buying complete vs buying deluxe + chars dlc. Where the heck complete stories bundle? I hope they would drop price to 50% to Christmas.
Sorry but we are talking about game prices not movie prices here. With that logic they could ramp up the price even further (more than 200) and it still would be fine, wich it obv isnt.

You have to search for the complete stories bundle because the base game isn't included with it.

You are missing the point... I and most can afford it, it's called having principles.

I don't go to the movies and I make my coffee at home. And it is looking like I won't be playing $100 games, but I thank the people that take the time to complain because their complaints serve to make the company aware whether their low sales are a pricing or content issue.

didnt you posted this exactly trash in another discussion? movies costs like a ton more money and even if not! thats no reason to accept these pricing standards nowadays!

Listen bruh, I don't mind the cost of this game, but I hate that gamers today count their "fun" in time spent or compare it to movies. I'm not going to the cinema and look at my watch to determine if the ticket price was worth it, I go there to watch a movie from a director I like, I'm there to see (mostly) art. That is why I prefer to see a great movie, think and talk about it + remember it, than to for example spend $60 on a Bethesdacore open world game and walk around a 3D map for 300 hours.

Console game prices have finally screwed everyone over 😂. So annoying, PC gaming was the last bastion against most of the bs in gaming.
Astasia Oct 3, 2023 @ 11:13am
The Disgaea series has always been a full priced console title on release, and has had a large amount of small optional DLCs to get some of your favorite characters (and their VAs) back in the game since like D3. Buying Disgaea 4 on PS3 back when it first came out 12 years ago it was a $60 game with like $60 worth of DLC. If you are shocked by the price here, where have you been for the last decade? You are obviously free to not buy it, but if you think the devs don't know what they are doing and are never going to make this series work, you are many years too late for that prediction.

It's a niche game and in order to justify the expense they must balance required budget vs expected income. Yes, the game will have cost less to make than a huge AAA game + marketing, but at the same time they'll expecting substantially less revenue.

unfortunately, It nets off. The alternative would be them shoving microtransactions in our faces.
