MASSIVE amount of translation issues

basically a huge number of evility descriptions are wrong. some quests also ask for the wrong items. I'm worried how far this goes.

I understand better. in the beta Fr , on a cap. spé attack sheet, we have "HIT" which does not appear anywhere else. you have to look on the English characters page to understand ... the loose. the right match FR character "Pcs"


It will be nice if they translate into FR from UK which is already poorly translated

mistaken stats (Hit instead of Res, Spd instead of Hit, EXP instead of Skill EXP. etc)
wrong values for evilities (0% instead of 25%, 100% instead of 10, etc)
ATK means anything between the stats, the base damage or the action itself.
Wrong item name (In quests, menu, table, etc) or wrong item icon. you never know which one is wrong.
And so much more.

As annoying as it is, this is nothing new when it comes to an NIS RPG. I have seen similar things in every rpg since the PS2 era. I don't know about the other genre since I only played the rpg myself.
I remember clearly in Disgaea 2 there was a switch between Hit and Res or something like that. There were also errors in the description of some passive. Same thing with Makai Kingdom and LaPucelle. Even Phantom Brave had errors here and there.

Though I have to admit, this time around they seem to be very flagrant and might even hinder gameplay. I do hope they fix most of these ASAP.

As much as I like NIS and NISA... I know you're right. Thanks to Primalliquid we know a few of them already, at least.

One of the reviewers of the game got a reply from NISA about the translation issues.

It says in the OP post: "Just wanted to provide quick update. I've forwarded your report to our internal parties, and they confirmed that patches will be going out soon to address these issues.

do JP games ever have good translation? I always just play them in JP because every game/anime I've consumed has terrible EN localization, even the best of them. I remember I had to switch to JP within like 5 minutes of playing PSO2 westernization because they'd give a quest objective like 3 different names in 3 diff menus as if a different translator worked on each part of the game lmao.

It better to have them fix it now then leave it as it is. I have like go into battle to find out what it really does for exp gain to figure it out.

theyre working on translation fixes, theyre gonna put out a patch

Good news. There was a update earlier to fix the translation problem on demo right now.
