how many times did you finnished this game?

HELP! I am in the sanctuary of flame level and I saved partway through, but now whenever I load the game I am immediately killed by the wall of fire and can't seem to do anything to get out. I had overwritten my previous save, but I really don't want to restart the entire game! Does anyone know how to get around this?...

Why? - I just played it about a month ago ??

Decided to give the Restoration project a try with the hype of the remasters. I have uninstalled my game, deleted the folder, reinstalled. made sure to check the box under the fmv settings. Installed the mod by following the instructions. Copied over the Bin and data folder. Start launcher and it brings it up, but Clicking Run game or settings results in nothing happening. not even an error. Any suggestions as to what is going on?
