Chronicles won't launch through Steam but it launches from the installation folder. Any fix ?

As the title says, If I run the game through the desktop shortcut or if I press PLAY on the game's page, the game won't launch. If I go to the installation folder and double click the PCTomb5 exe, the game will run xD.

Is it any way to make it run through Steam ? You know, to know how much time I spend in the game and so on

Now at least it gives an error, Failed To Setup DirectX...

I would combine the above fix with DGVoodoo2 so the Steam Overlay works.

I had the same issue. I believe I fixed it by going to the "Manage" menu of the game in Steam (click the settings/ 'cog' -button on the right of the screen when in the Tomb Raider Chronicles menu in Steam, and select "Properties". Then, look under ' General' , select the box for "Launch setup program".
