Question for long-time players

Hi, I see this game features a custom deck function. I am asking those who know the game well, do you tend to have a meta class/deck build that can guarantee a win? Or are some builds stronger vs some opponent builds, and no deck list is the best? It seems to me as a new player that the Sorcerer class is pretty OP, but that could be me not understanding the game well enough. I also like the Giant Turtle, that water creature that halves taken damage, and the Spider that spawns to little spiders. At least to me, those cards seem way better than the alternatives. What do long-time players have to say to this question? TY

TY for answering. Another question, is it just me, or is the Armageddon spell very OP? If it just did damage equal to the caster's fire resource, I think it would be perfectly balanced. But that +8 makes it very easy to win games especially when combined with Priest of Fire and Merfolk Apostate. What do you think?
