BTW, many games that proceeded this one (some by several years) supported proper mouse+keyboard. It's not like this movement scheme was unheard of at the time.
And lets me set buttons to whatever. And works fine.
Probably be better with a pad without the 360 analog triggers though. Or it'll be stuck with 2 buttons less than the original PS pad.
I tend to use old PS2 dual-analog controllers through a USB convertor thingamajig, if the 360 triggers don't get picked up by a game and I need the buttons.
I've got about 6 of them lying around though. Which I suppose helps.
I sort of hoard PC pads. I've got about 30 (not joking) of the things.
The modern games have Lara's head moving in the position of the camera, but subtly, it's just not the same. The control of Lara in the earlier games was actually my favourite due to how heavy and immersive it was because of this.
