The game requires coop, so 4 players are necessary. If 4 local players aren't available, you can match and play with others online. Also, if you don' have 4 controllers, a mode that lets 1 controller be shared between 2 players is also included.

I would have played this with my daughter but looks like its not to be.
That is not what the dev said. They said 2 players can share a single controller, but you still need 4.
OK I will give it a go.
If this is the case its wierd they hide this in the marketing. Insisting on 4 players only is going to really impact sales
This is a original game, a good challeging game, but the problem is that all gameplay can be ruined if just one of the players is noob or non-collaborative. I am usually very patient, but with this game I have met too much stubborns that do not see the puzzle is a four part solution.
