BIGFILE.DAT WILL NOT LOAD!

How do i fix this one file from screwing everything up. I can watch the videos with the blink player, I looked at all the discussions on here, but everyone dosent have a certain fix.

I am on windows 11 running a 4090. I know this is an old game, i own all copies of it and the rest of the series but I want to play this on the computer and share it with my friends. its becoming annoying.

Does anyone have a updated solution for 2023?

I have several times dude. A million times! I have uninstalled and installed on two different computers! I have downloaded the patches. I have done everything that is stated in any of the steam forum or discussions online on websites.

Did I get some ball sack copy of this game?
I mean I own all of the physical and can play the original copies, but to capture card it all is such a struggle i dont want to go through.
