Which Blood Omen 1 Should I Play
I have a thing where I need to play every game in a series if I'm going to play them at all, and Blood Omen 1 needs to be acquired outside steam because of that dispute.

My two option are: Play the Windows version, which I already have and have patched it to work fine on Win7, or download the rom to play on a PS1 emulator.

Should I just stick with the Windows version and its flickery discolored videos or should I download an emulator and rom and play it that way?

The major factor here being the annoying videos that I can't seem to fix. I'm wondering which option is the most popular.

Stick to pc unless you can stomach the long loading times on ps1 (I can´t :D).

I read about the long loading times but I wasn't sure just HOW long we're talking. I've dealt with loading times in games that are up there, but I've never seen so many complaints about it before, so yeah maybe I won't bother finding out for myself.

I can at least still make out what's going on in the videos through all of the flashing colors at least.

I like the movies better on the ps1 version because it doesn't have the darkened scanline filter on them. Wish there was a mod to fix that on pc.

Emulating the PS1 version is honestly the most hassle free way to do it.

It's an exaggeration. I've played through the PS1 version multiple times and the loading times only last a few seconds. It's only really noticeable when you're trying to beat it in a single sitting and complete it 100% where you have to transition through multiple areas a few times.

I've played games with way, way, way longer load times like Morrowind's xbox version (where the game would take 5 minutes to load areas) and Dragon Age Origins before it's 1.05 patch when due to a memory leak the game's load times could last as long as 5-10 minutes.
