The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel
Judging by the visual and audio design in the trailer, it appears this is the spiritual successor and an homage to EA's The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel, a game which I spent countless hours playing in the nineties, mostly because the game would crash every time I was approaching the end. I reinstalled and replayed it over and over, hoping I would somehow get lucky and avoid the bug. Still one of the best Sherlock games ever made. Incredible music, voice acting, and pixel art. I hope this title lives up to those high standards. I recommend anyone interested in this game to check out that classic.

Yep, it was pretty awesome, although to my mind its sequel, The Case of the Rose Tattoo, is still the best Holmes game ever made.
I got both Scalpel and Tattoo when they were released and still have them. It's easy to play them on modern platforms these days as ScummVM supports them.
There was a version of Scalpel for the 3DO which added fully voiced dialogue. I think some work has been done by the ScummVM team to make it playable but last I checked it's not supported.
