I found a way to FIX Your saved game
I found a way to FIX Your saved game. Well at least it fixed mine. go to where your saved game is and change your saved game name from GameSave.json to GameSaves.json. i thought my game was ruined to, i copied my saved game account back into the data folder and notice i had to restart all over once i booted up the game. So i went back into the data folder and notice a new saved game file one was my original and a new called GameSaves.json. so i deleted the GameSaves.json file and changed my GameSave.json to GameSaves.json. and it worked and i got everything back.

The saved game file is in users-username-AppData-LocalLow-Red Axe Games-Car For Sale Simulator-Data. Just so everyone knows

To recover your old save data,Press 'Win + R', type 'appdata' into the dialog box, navigate to 'LocalLow -> Red Axe Games -> Car For Sale Simulator 2023 -> Data' and delete 'GameSaves.json'. Then, rename 'GameSave.json' to 'GameSaves.json'.Please note that while this process may recover your old save data, it will remove cars and retain your money and skills from your previous records.

Not sure if you need to do this also but under the view tab at the top of your Explorer, turn on "hidden items" incase you dont see the file called "AppData"

I figured it was something like that, it worked for me as well. In my case I had two files in my folder, I deleted the Gamesaves.json and renamed my Gamesave.jso to Gamesaves.json and it worked.

i only found out because i made a copy of my saved game so that my son could start a new game and we would both have our own save. once i copied my save over and started the game and seen start new game. I quit and to went to check my saved file and noticed 2 saves. since it worked i figured i tell everyone else since i seen so many ppl having that problem.

It's not in the Steam\steamapps\common\Car For Sale Simulator 2023
which is where you went.
just click on your main hard drive that windows is installed on (in case you have more than one) scroll down to users click your username of your pc then AppData-LocalLow-Red Axe Games-Car For Sale Simulator-Data
