What are the affinity stats and symbols?

I'm trying to work out what the affinity stats and symbols are, some are easy to figure out, like ice and lightening. but not sure on some of the others.

Are the first two physical and magic? next one is fire. Then lightening, Ice, but what are the last two?

Then under that, I assume the explanation mark is weakness to that affinity stat? a black shield is resist, and a white shield is block. then the pluses probably means, if you get hit in that element, it heals the character?

As I don't see this information in the game, unless Im missing it somewhere?

First two elements are Physical and Pierce, the last two are Force and Mind.

First reply already addressed the first question. And as for your assumptions in regards to the weakness/resists icons, that's exactly correct.
