Hello SHODN fans,

We have some exciting stuff in the works for Super House of Dead Ninjas! First of all, we have a FREE update coming just around the corner that will add widescreen support, leaderboards, new rooms and enemies, plus a bunch of other stuff. Did we mention it was FREE? Tell your ninja pals! We'll have all the details on the store page soon.

Because that wasn't enough, we're also working on a "True Ninja" DLC pack for later this summer. All SHODN fans will want to check this out, but hardcore players will definitely be interested in the all-new speed run mode, plus an even harder difficulty level. Other game modes are in the works, not to mention new items and weapons...and maybe even a new playable character...the ninja must keep some things a secret.

I've tried the new patch and i like the widescreen thing :D

So, the hardcore mode is for DLC? whatever. I'll buy it because i've spent 30 really fun hours with this game >: P

Hey everyone, the update is live. Here is what we've added:

Full leaderboards support (access via Options)
16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen!)
3 new enemies
50 new rooms
10 new achievements

yes, it runs like crap now..it was playing fine for me till this update now it's 5 to 10 fps even on the damn title screen..even when I set the settintgs to the lowest possible.

While we're at it, here are all the details about the upcoming "True Ninja" DLC pack. (Price TBD) Like I said, this will be really great for players looking for extra challenge.

You may have noticed the One-Armed Ninja sitting in the waiting room at the lodge with the latest update. Well, get the DLC and he will be playable! His stats are slightly different, so if you are an advanced player you will definitely notice a change. Also:

New Ninja Difficulty - super challenging!
New Mode: Boss Rush (with leaderboards)
New Mode: Speed Run (with leaderboards)
3 new weapons
2 new items
10 new achievements

You can expect this DLC to be available later this month. We'll post more news here when we're ready.

Finally we are hearing some players report significant slowdown with the latest update. If you are experiencing this could please post your system specs in one of the pinned glitches threads...thanks!
