I've just e-mailed the guy who wrote the original controller extension to see if there's an update due soon - I know he was rewriting the extension from scratch to support d-pads and even POV hats, so when it arrives it should make a big difference!

Awesome! I really would prefer the dpad opposed to the joystick for more precise control. Any news from him yet?

This really needs to happen. Everything about this game is retro, and yet, no D-pad support on a plain old Xbox 360 controller? We're forced to use the analog stick? Not awesome.

Please please fix this. I was so disappointed to plug in my gamepad and see I'm forced to use the joystick. Games like this were made for the dpad.

Cool thing about the Logitech F710 gamepad is that you can switch the Dpad to act like the thumbstick. So convenient for games that use thumbstick only.

Hmmmm...I don't remember making any promises. ;) But Alexander O'Mara is working on the extension used by SHODN to provide controller support, so we're waiting on him to provide an update - I can't say exactly when that will happen, but I'm hopeful that it will!

I've been using a PS3 controller. If you set MotioninJoy to Playstation 1 mode (no analog sticks) the game will work with the d-pad. Honestly the dpad on the 360 controller is so bad you guys are really better off using the stick.

So, no promise, but empty words? You said "when it arrives" - and that means that "it" is in progress. So it´s the other guy´s fault, i got it! ;)

Dont get me wrong, i know that work needs time. But you said that in starting april. And that´s quite long ago, if you play that game nearly every day. Like me. Just to show that i still love it.
