How long did it take you to beat the game?

Ok so first off, I haven't beat the game, yet. So please no spoilers/solutions/hints.

All I want to know is how long it took you to beat the game because I've been stuck somewhere for hours and I'm starting to think I'm too dumb for this thing.

actually , i was playing with tutorials about how to get black cubes . It takes a planty of time solving puzzles

About 16 hours to get 209.4% completion.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite games ... ever.

A couple of the puzzles are so intricate that it's taken a collective effort to figure them out, one of them even needed brute-force to find the solution and though it's now known, no one has come across a plausible explanation. They're not essential to finish the game, so you can finish quite quickly, but never solving all puzzles, at least without searching for answers online.
Maybe is one of these puzzles where you have been stuck for hours....

Crushing majority of people who claim that they completely "beaten" the game did so with the help of guides/walkthroughs. So I don't know to what extent it is relevant to you. I'm just at the beginning and wondering whether I'll be able to ever 100% it myself. Great puzzler/platformer though, the genre desperately needed it!

About 9 hours to finish the base game, 8 if you don't count a full hour I spent trying to find a door, only to find out it was too obvious for me to find it.

I now had played 7 hours and got the credit screen. But I cant continue, for some apparent reason... ( Im at 110% +)

I selected start new game+
but now my screen has frozen, Dont think this is intended :P

Update: I finished first gameplay with around 130% I think with game time around 11~12h, give or take. Now I'm in NG+ with around 160%, but running slowly out of ideas...though my notes are full of theories of possible solutions to certain puzzles, which ultimately fail though. Whoever solved those alphabet and counting cyphers honestly without any help or former knowledge about them in such a short time, should definitely get a job in some digital security-encryption company!

Conclusion: 206,3% after 34,5 hours of game time. Another circa 15~20 hours spent afk/offline, trying to come up with solutions and writing/drawing notes. That was achieved without any previous knowledge about game, I did pretty decent job at avoiding videos and forums regarding Fez's gameplay. My help was QR reader and a couple of math textbook regarding geometry to refresh certain knowledge. Last cube is missing, despite that I'm sure where it is and what is required to do in order to get it, but correct sequence is simply out of my reach for now.
