FEZ
How to transfer GOG files to steam?
So, I already had the GOG version of Fez, now I got it from the humble bundle 9. I want to add it to steam and play it here (achievements, etc), but I don't want to download it again (even if it is not THAT big, half a GB still is quite some). So how to do it? What files would I need to copy and specially WHERE?

I understand that for some games, if I close steam, copy the files, open steam and then "repair" the games installation / cache, i would only need to download the remaining parts / patches, but i'm not sure. So how to do it?

Please be speciffic. instead of only saying "copy them to your Steam's FEZ folder", please tell me WHAT folder that is (the default at least), etc.

Thanks!

I would just download the 500ish MB and uninstall the GOG version. that way you are sure you have all the latest files.

But if you insist:
Assuming GOG has the same folder heirachy (or however you spell it)

i guess you can copy the GOG Fez folder to the Steamapps/Common Folder

so it looks like this: Steamapps/Common/FEZ

Just like the others wrote. Then simply start installing like any other game and then Steam will "find" the files on your PC and download the rest (if necessary).
I'm sure GOG would be signed differently from Steam so this won't work.

I reckon just DL from Steam then transfer the saves.
