People say that this was supposed to be ludicrously difficult and required Binary and ASCII translations, but I remember solving this by pressing LT and RT to the beat of the red lights. Which is the "correct" way?

The ASCII translation is the correct way to solve it, but probably, like I did, you got it with luck.

Lol what a stroke of luck then. That's the problem with making super complicated puzzles though. Eventually you start losing control over how it works.

Yup can cofirm that you can easily get it by pressing LT RT as the stars blink

I try to write the constellation code but is to long XD then I Start to press: LT & RT, like a crazy for a wile and then appear that extrange pink "cube"

I reentered the room, having no idea about that cube, and pressed left and right a few times as I was adjusting then got it...
