For anyone having issues/bugs with the game...
I see a lot of people creating topics that pretty much run along the lines of "I have a problem etc...please fix/please help". However when viewing 90% of these topics I will find that the creator of the topic will post no information about what system they are running etc, in which is very useful to the developers.

Read below to be able to help the developers fix bugs/glitches faster

C:\Users\YOUROWNUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\FEZ - Here you can find the "Debug Log.txt" in which contains the debug information upon a crash.

https://getsatisfaction.com/polytron - Here is the Polytron forums, in which you will be able to get in touch with Renuald by creating a topic explaining your problem, posting your specs and finally giving them the debug information.

It generally helps if developers get as much information as possible regarding a "problem" when they don't know the scenario behind it.
On top of this hit the Windows key + R (or search for "Run" through the start > accessories) and type in "dxdiag" in which will give a detailed view of what your system specifications are.

As well as this, posting your debug information could help users who view this topic solve your problem (if not, the devs will be able to read it etc within a day or so as you should've posted on the Polytron forums)

This is due to some developers not really paying attention to the Steam discussion forums etc. Whereas for Fez, when posted on the Polytron forums it will gain the attention of Renuald who has been the one working flat out to fix bugs/glitches etc since its release on Steam.

Sometimes you just need to step back and appreciate the fact that things are worked out, but developers cannot read your mind to gain the information they need. Plus it's only one developer working on the fixes.

Hope this helps. :happymeat:

I honestly won't register on other forum just to tell them I have an issue. I'd rather google.

You can contact the programmer directly through the Polytron forums, meaning he can instantly be aware of any bugs and issues people have.

They don't care about PC, I don't care about helping them (I didn't pay for this game, also).

If they didn't care, there would be no patches at all. Stop whining because the game doesn't work perfectly on your PC.

Um, if anyone running on Linux/Mac OSX could give me the correct file location for the debug log, would be much appreciated.

On OS X, the debug log is at /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/FEZ/Debug Log.txt

Folks running 10.7+ won't see "Library" in their home folder by default, they should go to the "Go" menu in the Finder and select "Go To Folder..." and type in:

~/Library/Application Support/FEZ/
