I have a Macbook pro early 2008 and needed to update my graphics drivers for it to work without the renderer error: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers
I second this. The market share is simply to small. He will probably focus on porting it on to PS3/PS4 if anything. Bootcamp or parallels is the closest you will get to a mac port i'm afraid.
Not to mention the game is made with MonoGame. If they didn't intend to port it to the other OSes, it would just be using XNA dependancies. (It's a lot easier than making sure your game works properly with MonoGame, believe me.)
He has said that he will port FEZ to Linux and mac, followed by PS3.
Me saving up enough money to buy myself a windows desktop, or FEZ being ported to mac.
