Instead of dropping 9 dollars to feed some manchild's ego, you should just go play the flash game Sky Island.
It's free, and a hell of a lot better than FEZ.

Too bad. Every time an indie game is out i try to support it instantly but i dont want to support this person, even if the game is great.
Can you really blame them? Some people may argue the whole 'seperate art from the artist' thing, but Phil isn't exactly the type of person i'd want to support by buying his game.
Respect is something earned.
Fez was a PC game when it was first announced years ago. Pictures and videos were shown, many of the indie game websites covered the game as it made its way through early development... seemed like it was taking a long time to come out, but that's ok... It's hard to make a good game.
Then suddenly, it was announced that Fez was being made for XBLA instead of PC. This was after quite a long time of hearing about it, and being told that it was a PC game. Apparently they offered him a good deal and he took it, abandoning PC gamers in the process. I laughed my ass off when the whole thing happened where microsoft wanted him to pay a ludicrous amount of money to submit a patched version of the game to fix a game-breaking bug. If he'd just released on PC like he originally said he would, he could have patched anytime he wanted for free, even if it was on a distribution service like Steam.
