telescope room code too hard

I found the code (right RT left RT RT jump jump right) but it won't work... :(

From what I understand, the code had to be put in while standing on the telescope's platform.

I could be wrong though, as I did this awhile ago.

Is it me, or is the code the wrong way around? Assuming we start from the [R-RT] screen, the constellations from left to right are [R-RT]-[jump-R]-[RT-jump]-[L-RT], not [R-RT]-[L-RT]-[RT-jump]-[jump-R].
