I was glad to find the work around for the naming of relations.
What I found the most weird is that Landlady/Landlord and tenants means something completely different to me versus how it is used in this setup.
Even if one were to consider the parent and children to be a stepfamily, as in childrn were adopted by the parents because... whatever, it would've made far more sense than the use of a landlord/lady and tenants.
Where I'm fron a landlord/lady would be the owner of a house he/she rented for the tenants to have a place to stay. sort of like living in a frathouse and a headmaster (or whatever its called)
But in this game, to see actual parent/child dynamics be referred to as landlord/lady and tenants is very weird to me.
So again, thankyou for the other thread in how to edit that file. Playing through it now has become an immensely better experience for it.
