I don't know if EGO level has anything to do with it. And also not sure about higher EGO weapons for lower EGO players, but even if they are too high for him, he can hold on to them til he's the right level. :D
2. DLC specific weapons wont be able to be used by him if he doesnt have the corresponding DLC.
3. Also make sure that the weapons you wish to trade are tradeable too. Not all are.
4. Some weapons dont drop for people below certain ego threshholds. Also stats on weapons get better(and worse then better again) at different ego ratings in the later levels.
All in all, you'd better help your friend by getting his ego rating up over attempting weapon trades. 100-800 is low and not really worth the time to bother with the effort to do all that. Just do your missions and pursuits, get over 1k at the very least first and go from there.
I have a friend who always wants to buy the low ego level stuff, depending on what it is. i know he wants a low level ground pounder.
Are you on European or US server?
I'm sorry, but that's a very annoying
style of writing as elipses suggest there are words missing and it's all just one long unending sentence.
I try this when I'm back home.
I apologize for my style.
I want to annoy anyone.
But ... that's just my style ... slainte ...
Thank you all for your comments and your help ... slainte ...
