I guess this will become the new standard now, we will be able to play games only as long the server is running
horrible but what you can you do when people are driven by whims rather then reason
I hate it. Games should have OBLIGATORY offline mode and ability to play LAN or have dedicated servers so that people can enjoy them long after the companies loose interest and move on
but they rather prevent us from enjoying the games we love in order to force us to move to their new products which will eventualy also get shut down to force us to move to another newer product
A damn shame to hear about one of those reasons. There are other game companies out there that are probably tied with Trion as the worse.
Highly doubt it. I haven't seen any rumors about a potential server reboot by anyone.
