How is this game still alive?

I remember being hype for this at launch, and played for a week or so, it was quite a buggy launch iirc so I gave it up and never came back, just surprised to see it still hangin in there tbh..

1 server 300 to 400 people, enogh to keep an MMO running. Some MMO's have less players active than this one (one more known one being WOWP, its vastly outperformed by WT yet there is a hard core of fans playing WOWP)

How? My guess the singleplayer/pve content. If i come back playing this game one day its beasue of the single player/pve/quest mission content. The game is not a MMO anymore, its barely anyone playing it lol. Arkfalls are pointlss to go to because nobody is hardly there anymore, and they got rid of loot drops for events/holiday events.

The devs killed this game, just like the rest of their games soon. Even trove is a mess now, they added so much stuff and cluttered the everything and change everything, its terrible. I come back to trove and the whole has change. I wish they just made trove and defiance into offline games, but seeing how devillian is shut down , i highly doubt it happens.

You and me most likely don't play on the same server, each siege, incursion, and arkfalls still show a bunch of players for me, generally enough for the game to not register the other players to reduce lag and to get past wave 10 for each sieges. It's still pretty healthy to me

There are always people to play with. Incursions/Arkfalls always have people. And most are friendly. Find a Clan, which isn't hard to find a big one and join, then ask in chat for queue groups and you will get them. I like playing for at least 30min to an hour everyday.

I've played it for a couple years, I first played it on my PS3, and moved to PC. I like it in the rotation, but clans i've noticed quickly move to pvp.

The game is still very populated especially during events. Also it is being developed for a relaunch on PS4 and Xbone so the game will probably get quite a refresh when this happens.
