dayz,single player
plz help me guys,i cant play single player on day z therrs not even an option to pick,and if i play multi player i keep on being the bird,plz help

Are you refering to ARMA 2 OA singleplayer or the actual DayZ mod itself?

If you mean DAYZ itself then i'm sorry to tell you that this is a multiplayer only mod. :(

Completely remove A2 and OA and steams POS DayZ.
Reinstall A2 and OA and download dayz commander. Once commander is installed, open it up and hit install/update top right of window. Make sure DayZ Commander and Arma 2 are up to date. Then in the same window under mods install DayZ currently 1.7.7.1.
Now before running DayZ "make sure you run Operation Arrowhead at least once" before joining a DayZ server.
As mentioned above there is no DayZ single player, its strictly online.

Yo OP I was looking for SP mods links on steams for Arma 2 came across your old thread. I did find how to play DayZ mod in Single Player with the help of a mod and a simple install. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhQrKsbTHH8
