How can I create a private server for Dayz?

It's not hard in any way! You simply launch Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead from Steam. Then, when you're in the Arma 2 OA menu, you click expansions. Enable the DayZ expansion (@DayZ), and restart the program. Then go to multipalyer, and at the filter, type something simular to "awdwafesagwafhea", there will be no servers, and thats what you want to achive. There will only stand a green dot with the text "Start new server" or "start private session". Double click, and switch from LAN to internet, and then simply host on the map you want.

Ok, but how I make the zombies attack me? I put them in the map, but they don't attack me.

To make zombies and loot actually spawn in DayZ, you need to download some files. I suggest you watch this video, it explains everything very nicely and good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLxGo7mKkms

I did all of this but when i try to run my server it says connected... then after a few minutes connection failed
How do i fix this?

I HAVE A FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Download the dayz launcher from "dayzlauncher.com".
Install the launcher and go to the settings tab.
Put the direction of your game folders in the settings tab that requires the folder location.
You must now download at least 3 mods.("Dayz 1.8.7" / "Dayz Epoch 1.0.5.1" / "Dayz Overwatch 0.2.5")
The Dayz from steam is not working at all.
The mods that you need are located in the "Mods" tab of your Dayz launcher.
When you have the mods downloaded, you can play 3 major versions of Dayz.
These versions include:
Vanilla / Epoch / Overwatch
Some servers comine "Overwatch" and "Epoch" and name it "Overpoch".
The server population will be in the launcher.
You might get some more errors.

Just to be sure.. Can I make my own Overpoch or an Origin server, with a cracked ArmA 2 : Combined Operations?

when i do this, i just get a view on the desert with back ground sounds and i can't do anything...
