What do I need to play the mod?

I have Arma 2 and this mod but it is saying stuff like "Failed to start the game (missing executable)" I am confused and worried I wasted my money and can't play it. Can any of you help me out?

Having the exact same problem and i have all the DLC for it and its not working.

I found out you also need the Arma 2 game OVA i think is the acronym (didnt spell that right) and you need Arma 2. After you have those two open the games up and then you can play it.

You need Arma 2 & Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Better still get combined operations (includes both) for one price. The other DLC's aren't necessary but offer better graphics and more equipment.

Don't forget to run Arma 2 first then quit and run Arma 2 OA.

Do you mean I have to run arma 2 tap out of it and than open dayz mod?

Yes, just open both games and exit out you should be able to play after.

Bottom left of the server lists' it will say LAN click on it and it will be put onto internet.

Hi .Im portuguese, so im gonna try to help you. You must have Arma 2, opearation arrowhead and dayz mod. Install arma2, operation arrowhead and dayz mod. Open arma 2 and quit. Open OA, go to expansions and activate dayz and dayz mod, restart game. Confirm in expansion if those boxes are active and quit game.. Open dayz mod and do the same. Go to google and search for Dayz Launcher. Download and install it. In that program you have a Mods section ... Download the most important ones.. Like epoch per example. when its done. Go to your steam library, Right mouse click on Arma 2, properties, local files, and cache game. same to OA, nad them same to Dayz Mod.. Dont know why but when we install games there are always missginfg files. That will repair game... To play Dayz Mod, go to dayz launcher and launch the game. You will be able to play, if you follow these instructions. GG
