Files missing?

When i load the game it says something like

"No entry 'bin/config.bin/CfgWorlds/DayZmod.EnvSounds'."

Am I missing something? I think I have all the Arma 2 expansions installed afaik including the DayZ mod and Operation Arrowhead and British Armed Forces

then when i try to join an internet multiplayer match it says same thing but for a file named chernarus.description?

what is happening.. i have tried validating everything integrity through properties.. nothing..

is there something more than just steam install files i am missing?

I can see the internet lobby which is great.. seems to be only a russian server and a german server with more than 20 players atm

Start Steam as an admin and run Arma 2 one time and then Arma 2 OA one time. Then launch DayZ Mod from Steam. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks this works.

Just had to run all the non Arma 2 DayZ Mod expansions and base game first.

Also got the dzlauncher from the dzlauncher website.

Seems to have more servers/lobbies and easy to manage mod access.

Will see how this goes but thanks your method worked perfect.

I uninstalled DayZ Mod and then reinstalled accidentally just to be safe but I don't think this was completely necessary.
