Go to Buildandshoot.com they got a master server and the server list. That communitiy trys to keep AoS alive.
@Sniped You belong to Jagex, right? I'll try again later and comment here if something has changed.
What's wrong IMHO is that the strategy and more thoughtful play has been replaced by a fast-paced non-cerebral TF2 clone.
I'm glad Jagex is asking for feedback about the classes, and it will take some serious rebalancing to get it right. The heart of the matter is the overall feel of the game has changed so much that it might as well not be called Ace of Spades.
It makes me wonder how much the dev team understood the appeal of the original. Bring back the hardcore, unforgiving gameplay of the original. Make building, tunneling, strategy and teamplay matter. Slow down the pace of rounds, and force players to work together.
I take back the TF2 comment. Valve did alot to ensure people had to work together to accomplish goals. AoS might as well be deathmatch for all I have to care about my team to win =(
The offical server list that Jagex claims to maintain is still down - The launcher of 0.76 isn't showing any servers for me.
