what to do with gnome corpse?

as title says just wondering what i do with my gnome corpse's just lost my first gnome apperently removeing floor 7lvls up on mountian wasnt watching but i guess she reomved floor she was standing on anyways she is dead what do i do with the body ?

i dig a tomb and block them in it for each one be respect full i put them on a pedastle in a rock tomb with pillars holding the roof if they died in combat if an accident i lay them in a hole on there own and bury them as if a normal person had died

k so there is no actuall coffin or tomb thing u can do sorta just wing it will he decompose? will he make otheres around him sad he is dead?

i dont know about sad i just dont like bodies laying everywhere so i clean up they might i just clear them off and give them tomb stones

The corpses will eventually disappear. Not sure what the timeframe for that is, though. IIRC seeing corpses can make gnomes "upset" (make them idle for a long time), so I usually create an underground corpse stockpile/mausoleum for them to get them out of view.

thanks this answers my uestion much appreciated for all the response. hope someone reads this dont wanna start new thread need some ideas for my gnome home's, I have setup an entrance to mountian and dig straight back witch was fine at first but now i have like 20 gnomes and the last few have to go really far to get to bed. Was wondering how do u set up ur living area for gnomes?

There might be a bug with that, I had 4 die - 3 corpses vanished but one is lying on a stockpile and he has stayed resolutely put. Can't even make sausages outa him :P

my dead gnomes always end up in my butchery, i thought they butchet them but never saw gnome sausage or something, so maybe i should put dead bodies somewhere else in the future

I just make a Stockpile for Corpses/Body Parts and then have 'em haul 'em there. The Gnome ones eventually disappear, but you should have your Butchery use anything that isn't a Gnome part for food.

Just dig down a level and use that as living space, my gnomes literally live in the mines.

either incase them in a tomb like structure or in a stockpile becuase they might come back as zombies
