bone carver not working

i have 11 bones and my gonmes woltnt use the bone carver to make bone needles why

I haven't played the game in a while (about to get back into it), but last time I played none of the gnomes had bonecarving set as their default skills. As a result, you had to go in and manually assign that skill to a gnome job class of your choosing. I don't know if this was changed in a more recent version and you are having a different issue, but it's worth a shot.

Lots of things could be wrong here One the Floor under where the bonecarver is is too cluttered and cannot create more items, Two Like the gentleman above stated you dont have gnomes tasked to this task, Three your Bonecarving station might be paused
