What is a sack for ?

Tailor can made bags and sacks. Bags for storage I know, but sacks not useable for storage, so what is the intended use ?

It is like the bucket or wheelbarrow but for seeds/cotton/wool etc.

No , thats i a bag not a sack. If I in the storage menu, I can only set barrel or bucket or bag, nor sack . The sack is still in the stock but will not use ...

Like Harvey Kitchen said, a sack is the same as a weelbarrow but it enables your gnomes to moves seeds more than one at a time. This is true for any goods that fits into bags.

The use of the sack and bucket is the same as the weelbarrow for hauling logs/planks/etc...

Ah, you mean it's for carring not for storage ?
Now I unterstand what I see in the game :-) Thx (sry not all easy to understand for German ;-) )

Maybe a good idea to list this items as tools ,not as goods ...

Yes, they should be listed as tools, not goods. Not enough tools anyway. All of the categories need worked on.

Sacks are for gathering seeds/cotton/clippings etc.

You want wheelbarrows, buckets, and sacks to make cleaning up more effecient.

According to several sources manual clean up assignment doesn't tend to use them (possible AI issue related to the command or just the usual BS of ignoring the right stuff on the way to a job like happens for combat).
