Skeleton Corpse: What to do with it?

After taking out a few skeletons, they are starting to pile up. Is there something that you can do with them? you cannot butcher them to make bones, nor can you use the corpse directly with the bonecarver...

Is there a way to dispose of the corpses? Am I missing something? I think that eventually there might be a way to convert them into feralizer for the farmers to use to speed up growth, or have the ability to designate an area for a graveyard where you could bury any corpse you wanted (lets say if you did not want to eat goblin meat, you could bury them).

Corpses and body parts, whether they are butcherable or not, eventually disappear over time.

oh ok. Will they still disappear if stored in a crate?

yes but i didnt think you could put the dead in crates o.O

I don't think they decay if you put them in stockpiles, but if you don't want them lying around create a small stockpile off in a corner and then remove the deisgnation once they're out of the way. they should go away in a few game days.

I know they do decay in a stockpile cause of the massive mants i stockpile after an attack. I need to see if i can put them in crates though... that could help when I make the goblin king mad xD

I was not sure if they could or not, but it seemed to me the kind of thing that would be possible...
