I still remember the day I finished this game and praying for a sequel.
I'm sure the people at inXile did their best "technically", but it's very easy to see they had absolutely no heart or passion for this title, probably because the publisher gave them too many limitations to deal with.
The game has absolutely no outstanding qualities and is too linear and generic. As a result, the sales were far below the publisher's expectations. They would never invest money into a sequel. And the only reason to buy the IP were if a developer couldn't think up their own generic fantasy story about a male warrior and a female elven archer. Extremely low probability.
Yup, but game still is better, than most of Modern games... It's unfortunate, that only Hype-Train or Indie games live nowadays, and there is no more medium A quality projects....
idk about you guys but I really loved the game.
