I've heard about the new multi-dad update, with more than one octopus playing, but is this ONLINE multiplayer, or will it just be local/co-op/one person controls every dad.

It was done as an April Fool's joke and we don't have any plans to fully implement it. If we ever do a sequel to Octodad, we would consider it as a feature for that, but it breaks too many parts of Octodad: Dadliest Catch's gameplay to release. In any case, it would likely be local multiplayer only.

If you do make Octodad 3 though, make "Octodad 3: Caring Father, Loving Husband, Secret Octopus, and now Special Agent." I don't know why, but the idea of Octodad kicking ass with his amazing walking skills sounds amazing to me.

Nah, Octodad goes to the DMV (Imagine an octodad driving level, gotta change gears, press pedals, turn wheel, with the fantastic controls it would be chaos :D). Or a carnival for one of the kids birthday(more octodad carnival games or a fun house mirror level). Or a trip to the beach or something.
