Lol if you're doing what I think you're doing, you did the exact same thing as me. XD Make sure you bring the milk jug over to the daughter and just shake it a bit above her; it should pour into her glass.

I tried grabbing a glass from the kitchen to fill it up. Spent five minutes just trying to get the damn thing square on the table. XD

Haha, I did that too. I just couldn't get the damn glass to stand up so I went into the living room so I could pour milk on my daughter in spite only to find out that she had a glass all along...

Just do it the speedrun-way: Stumble your way over the table and tackle your daughter (with the milk-can in hand). Should solve your problem.
