They'd be selling this game short if they made it console exclusive. Consoles come and go after they go obsolete. PC is forever, but we just need to constantly upgrade them.

There are a lot of PS4 games coming out that Sony made sound exclusive, but they are not. Technically Octodad is still console exclusive to PS4

I was looking to buy Octodad for the PS4 just for the reason of it being better to use, but the workshop and cheap price put me on the PC side.

I guess sony was helping them early on to make the PS4 version and that's why. They found a good PC game and asked them to make a PS4 version, thus they advertised it.

That's just Sony's kinda dishonest marketing at work, they want everyone to think that the PS4 is THE new indie machine with about one release per month so far and very few if any real exclusives... Octodad was actually funded by PC gamers via Kickstarter.

I take it you had to buy a case and new hdd's and a new power supply for your latest build? I got away with 900 dollars on my last build because I already had ssd's an amazing case that you can't get anymore (original armor tech not the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ new armor case) I have yet to find a case that helps so much with temps. Basically I had everything except ram, CPU, and videocards. What do you think of this game? It looks very entertaining, and funny. The artstyle reminds me of Kablam! (human charactors) and the humor seems dry from the trailor (thats a good thing). No meta score up yet not that I care, I'd rather hear it from you guys. Besides the fact that it's cheap should I get it? I have a back catalog to keep in mind.

Yep. But remember, if it is a PS4 exclusive, then it is also a PC game most likely. Reason why I'll never buy a PS4. because the real exclusives are not enough insentive to buy it when I can get just 90% of what they clam to be "exclusives" on PC. Yes people can argue a PC is more but lets face it, you are going to buy a computer anyway and a comuter will last longer than any console generation and if you got a good enough one, it can still rival the next generation.

First of all SWEET name :) Secondly, I agree with your remarks, after all the PS4 is an AMD x86 machine. If I ever buy one though it will be for the same reason I bought the PS2 back in the day (after a price drop). Reason being the Japanese games. I can't help it, I love them. If there are enough epic (exckusive) JRPG's or random (exclusive) Japanese crazyness that I just have to play, I'll get a PS4. I will not pay 400 dollars for it though. I just laugh at the Xboner. Pay 500 dollars for even worse hardware with gimmicky spy devices. Give me a break. It's like they want to fail. Oh, with the PS4 there has been a lot of talk lately about the PS4 getting backwards compatability support via emulation. Interesting to say the least. Yeah we can emulate the SH*T out of things on our PC's but it's impressive to see a console going for it.
