Remote Coop Play

Hey There,
I am new to this game and don't really understand is it possible to play coop via Remote Play?
Or do I need a Controller for that?
I tried it and it kinda just seemed to have a shared mouse function which is a little less fun.

Remote play is made for a ps4 system, If your using a ps4 controller with remote play and you bought Octodad of steam, Octodad may not seen the ps4 controller. But if you are on the ps4 system you will need a controller for that.

So Remote Play is not made for the pc or what?

remote play is made for ps4 and not pc.

Steam has remote play together with controllers as well and should work last I checked.

Ok to answer OP even though it's been months

you can remote co op play, but PLAYER 1 needs to be on controller since this game can't have more than one player on the same controls

PLAYER 2 (who you're streaming the game to) will use your mouse

it's different for other games like say, an emulator. you can both use the same keyboard if the game allows stuff like that (P1 on arrow keys, P2 on WASD)
