Currently one can build up to three depots/terminus stations connected to the same industry or city.
Combined with an ability to assign different trains to different depots of the same location, it adds a degree of flexibility and planning to a player's rail building strategy.
Hello there!
A feature still in development, several Platforms can be built next to any industry or city to add more loading points for your trains.
One more side effect of the same issue. Please keep in mind path finding is under development and our trains are still learning 🙂
Now I add a second platform at the same oil station, create a station at Summerlee, connect them, and buy another 4-car train that I tell to wait until full at oil, then go to Summerlee and unload. These two rail lines do not connect at the oilwell. Platform #1 goes east only, and platform #2 goes west only. Now as the first train waits until it has a full load, the second train has a "pause" symbol on it. When the first train is full, the second train still has a pause. I click "start" on it and it can't find the route. I click to "find" the train and it's in the clouds to the left somewhere. I remove the orders, add them again (since this seems to fix a lot of similar problems) and the same problem persists. I have a train lost in the clouds forever. So I add a third train and give it the same orders I gave the "lost" second train, but it too is lost in the clouds, can't find the route. I check, recheck whether the tracks are all connected, and they are.
In level 5 I also tried having a passenger train but it just got lost in the clouds too the same way.
I'm just going to supply Summerlee with cotton that it accepts but doesn't require for now. I wanted to make the most of the oil though since in this level everything needs it and using oilwells to supply just one need at at a time will probably bottleneck the playthrough and result in a reduced completion time.
