AMD Radeon HD 7500 Series Crashing

Hi Folks,

We had a support incident recently whereby Patch 0.2.16 was crashing on a Radeon HD 7500 card (the crash was in the DirectX 11 driver rather than the game and may be GPU driver or engine related). Forcing the game to run in DirectX 9.0c appears to fix the problem. So here's how to achieve that:

1. Right click on Folk Tale in your Steam Library and select Properties
2. Under launch options enter -force-d3d9
3. Run the game

I have experienced my first crashes today in the game for the first time ever :( . I loaded up a saved game from last week ready to continue.

The game allowed me to play for 20 to 30 minutes freezes for 30 seconds then a black screen appears and the game crashes. I then repeated the above about 3 times today.

My card is AMD HD 6670m 2gb yes I know its on the low end but the game has been playable.

I will try the above recommendations and see what happens. Thanks for the above post maybe if it can be pinned for a while incase other AMD users are having issues.
