So having just beating the game on hard. (In 8.8hrs) I wanted to take the time to write out my thoughts of the game. Is it great? not really theres to many flaws for it get there. The sad thing is there was potential. Lets state whats good.
1. The texture, art, lighting this pulls the hole game forward at times.
2. It can actually scare you the first part of the game atleast does it well enough.
3. The story well atleast the beginning is well enough to pull you in to wanting to know more.
4. The introduction of light/dark gameplay towards the end was a nice touch.
Lets state the bad
1. The combat, It just not fun. Since this is the majority of what you do in the game more time should have been taken to improve it or start from scratch.
Theres even a huge number of different melee weapons to use but why you would use anything but the fireaxe is beyond me aka its not balanced at all.There's plenty of examples of melee combat systems that were fun and engaging. Condemned: Criminal Origins / Dead Island. The gun system is functional but isn't anything to write home about.
2. The voice acting and writing, this at times is down write B movie funny (the end with 2 guards talking) and other times it seems to be actually trying to be serious. The dialogue bewteen you and the colonel are just horrid.
3. The Boss fights the character design of which are atleast interesting but everything else bout it was tedious and require luck a majority of the time. The boss fights themselves seemed to be built for an action game
4. Its not really survival horror, the first part of the game plays up to it pretty well. You have plenty of ammo generally, health regens so no worring bout health.
Of course at the end of the day you just want to know if you should buy it while its on special if you got under 20 dollars and want a surival horror game. Condemned its on steam for 14.99. I do want to mention that i did enjoy game for all of its flaws and for 9.99 i would recommended it.

My Review of the Gane



Wow ! Who thought what all a ordinary shrink (your character) can do ! This game totally overwhelmed nee with such a good background story and with all details on this FPS game from the 3thd viewpoint.This game is a mix of let's say Doom,Metro,Max Payne & much dialogs with different people in the game who will help you- Every single details is made smart....there are not just there...u must find some keys to open doors or to unlock turn off a broken gas ventil...etc.
You will need to play very very slowly with focus ..cuz this game has a "type of Doom characteristics" where ur going in the dark with a fleshlight and suddenly from nowhere attacks u a insanity sick soldier...ex-soldier.
Only for a 4.6 Eur0s for this weekend deal !!! You MUST take it and buy this game!

Like I said it's not a classical FPS,it's way more than that! MUCh more!!! It's an addictive game,when you went trough a checkpoint it saves your game status-no classical save game!
I started to play this game and I could not stop cuz it's such a good game where u with a firefighter Axe tearing the zombies apart,or with a wooden leg of a table :D

I was in doubt about this game but ,,,,I can only say 5+ ! A+ !!! A fantastic game with a good engine,with a dark floors where u need to find a key,great graphics &sound ,also with conversations with some other characters in the game.


BUY THIS GAME,CUZ IT'S EVERY CENT WORTH !

Great review. I'm almost finished with it. For the $1.70 I paid, I'd say it was a great deal!
